Fishing
We would like to welcome you to George Lake Camp, located 89 air miles north west of La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Accessible only by float plane, this is one of the most scenic fly-in camps in Canada. It is located on a stunningly beautiful sand beach in a peaceful pine and birch setting.
George Lake is over 5,000 acres of crystal clear water registering a depth of over 200 feet. It has an abundance of bays, islands and coves, creating a perfect environment for the fish to reach trophy potential. Loaded with large northern pike and lake trout this lake has been a management program since 2003 to maintain it as a major trophy fishing lake. We practice catch and release on the larger size fish but, allow plenty of good eating size to be kept each day. For those walleye enthusiasts we maintain boats at a 900 acre neighboring lake which day trips are offered at no additional cost.
