The Experience
A TRUE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE
Every trip to George Lake Outfitting is built around one goal: a genuine wilderness experience, not a production line. From the float plane flight 89 air miles into Northern Saskatchewan to evenings around the campfire, this is fly-in bear hunting and trophy fishing the way it used to be — remote, personal, and unforgettable.
We’re a small operation by design. With guests capped well below what most outfitters run, every hunter and angler gets real attention — not a number on a guide’s clipboard.
Mission Statement
A LIFELONG PASSION
Having hunted and fished all my life, my goal has always been to bring more people into the outdoors. I outfit, certainly not for the money, but because it is my lifelong passion.
In 2016, I flew 89 miles north of the nearest civilization and found George Lake — one of the most beautiful lakes I’d ever seen, with an abandoned camp on its shore. After the best fishing of my life, the decision was easy. That winter, with a lot of help and a lot of snowmobile trips, George Lake Outfitting was built from the ground up.
We run a small, hands-on operation so every client gets a true shot at a trophy black bear and non-stop fishing action. Every trip can be customized — this is a once-in-a-lifetime wilderness experience, built around you.

I’ve hunted in several provinces over the years, but this trip was in a league of its own. One of the things that impressed me most was the small group atmosphere. We never felt rushed or overlooked, and the personal attention from everyone at camp made the trip feel truly customized. It was a level of service that’s becoming increasingly difficult to find.
